Meet Your Team

Tiffany Piper CPM, CST, IHP
Owner/Provider
Hello, I'm Tiffany—a dedicated wife, mother, midwife, and Integrative Health Practitioner. I'm driven by a profound passion for informed choice, medical freedom, and every woman's right to birth on her own terms. Beyond birth, my mission is to be an unwavering advocate and cheerleader for individuals and families living their best, healthiest lives. I firmly believe that healthcare should be truly healthy, focusing on holistic well-being from birth through every stage of life.
As a mother of five, I deeply understand the birth journey; four of my children were born at home, and my last two were unassisted, or 'free birthed,' welcomed peacefully into my own hands with only my family present. This personal experience fuels my profound trust in the birth process and the body's innate wisdom.
For nearly 30 years, I've been a steadfast presence at births across Central Oregon, operating my own practice here since 2006. My deep community roots mean I've had the privilege of serving countless families. My approach seamlessly integrates traditional wisdom with modern understanding and God-given discernment, always prioritizing respect, autonomy, and trust. My faith in Jesus grounds me, affirming that this challenging yet profoundly peaceful work is my divine calling. I am fiercely committed to eradicating coercion, manipulation, and abuse in maternity care, ensuring every woman feels safe, supported, and truly empowered.
When asked how many babies I've 'delivered,' my proud answer is always five—my own. I believe birth belongs entirely to the mother, and I would never claim credit for her incredible work. Instead, I've had the immense honor of witnessing countless women bring their babies into the world, holding sacred space as they embrace their power and strength.
Beyond my role in birth I am also an Integrative Health Practitioner, I've recently received my certification in Craniosacral Therapy. This multifaceted discipline, much like my other passions, is a continuous journey of learning. I've cherished the profound connections forged through this work, both personally and with my craniosacral and birth clients. My vision is to specialize in craniosacral care for pregnancy, birth, postpartum, newborns, and infants. If you are interested in learning more about Craniosacral Therapy click here. If you would like to get on our schedule for treatment click here.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, riding my motorcycle, working with my cricut to create things, paddle boarding (only when its hot, I may be crazy but not cold water paddle-boarding crazy) and brainstorming on how to single handedly change the world. (not even kidding lol)
Birth is inherently powerful, as are the women who navigate this journey. It is my privilege and joy to stand beside you—offering guidance, unwavering support, and absolute belief in your strength as we collectively work to give birth back to women and foster genuinely healthy, holistic care for every family, empowering them to thrive throughout their entire lives.

Gwyneth DeMara DEM, LMT, CST
From a young age I have always had a deep fascination for the miracle of birth. I feel very fortunate that I have the opportunity to assist women in one of the most transformative moments of their lives. My mission is to empower women to have the birth they envision while providing unwavering support, education, and compassionate assistance along the way I currently practice as a massage therapist along with Craniosacral Therapy. I am excited to share my knowledge of the human body with the world of birth workers. I have 3 sisters, 3 wonderful nieces and have a huge appreciation for the close community and family. In my free time you can find me in the garden, making art, spending time with family, and working on the farm.

Gwyneth "Gwyn" Kruskamp
Office Manager
“After the birth of my first baby, I joined the Shalom Midwifery team to work in the background and focus on the administrative side of serving our clients. While I don’t attend births, or help out in prenatal or postpartum visits, I find a lot of joy watching the families we serve grow. It is such a beautiful process to be a part of! When I’m not here, I’m spending time with my own family, working at my own family’s business or getting outside to camp and hike here in our beautiful home state.

Jensen Stecher
Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula
My journey into birth work began after both of my children were born at home, into my and my husband’s hands. Those peaceful and beautiful experiences changed me forever and opened my eyes to the beauty, strength, and sacredness of birth.
I’m a devoted follower of Jesus, wife, and momma, and I believe every family deserves to feel supported, respected, and cared for in this incredible season of life.
As a birth and postpartum doula, my heart is to walk alongside you offering a calm presence, a listening ear, and gentle guidance as you welcome your little one and step into this new chapter with confidence and joy.
Since both of my babies were born with Tiffany’s support, I am so excited to work alongside the amazing birth team of Shalom Midwifery, and to be part of a team that shares my heart for serving and loving families through every step of this empowering journey.

She feels deeply called to support women through the sacred threshold of birth and postpartum, honoring the wisdom of both nature and the body. Her background in herbalism weaves gentle plant medicine into her care, offering families holistic support that nourishes body, mind, and spirit.
With a love for people, God, and the natural world, Emily approaches birth work as both a practical service and a spiritual calling.
